N & D | Steam Whistle Wedding
After postponing their celebration, we were so excited to finally bring N & D’s wedding to Steam Whistle in the Pilsner Hall. The ceremony took place outdoors on the patio and our curved moongate arch was used for the floral installation. This floral arch is one of our favourite pieces as not only does it offer the perfect ceremony backdrop by framing the couple but it is very versatile. After the ceremony we often move the arch florals to be repurposed for the reception. Arch florals can be used as a backdrop for the head table, next to a welcome sign or a podium if one is included for speeches.

Steam Whistle is an amazing venue downtown Toronto that currently offers two unique wedding spaces: the Pilsner Hall and the Locomotive Hall. This alternative wedding venue is unique because it is located in the former repair facility of the Canadian Pacific Railway. The roundhouse still has many original featured including the rail tracks for the steam locomotives as well as cobblestone walkways. We love working with this Toronto wedding venue!
Steam Whistle has a unique vibe to it, with an industrial and vintage feel and large paned windows that offer a ton of natural light. The colour palette for this Toronto wedding was white, blush and dusty rose. We wanted to use a neutral colour palette that complimented the bridesmaids soft grey dresses. Flowers included were roses, spray roses, snowberries, butterfly ranunculus and eucalyptus. The tables were set with white lines and flatware. We selected our white pedestal vases for the centerpiece arrangements with soft flowers.
