Maximize your Floral Budget: Versatile Designs

With intimate weddings being a popular trend for 2021, we thought we would share some ideas for selecting floral design elements that can be enjoyed for your ceremony and reception!
By repurposing design elements, we are also taking an eco-conscious approach by utilizing your florals to their fullest potential.

Here are FIVE design elements that can be repurposed from your ceremony to reception;

1. Ceremony Arch - Head Table backdrop
A decorative arch, like our wooden hexagon is a stunning backdrop that can transform any ceremony location.  We often relocate it behind a head table to create a nice vignette behind the couple.

2. Meadow Pieces - Head Table floor installation
If you love installation pieces, opt for a couple of low meadow pieces that either frame the ceremony space or lead down the aisle.  These low arrangements can be repurposed in front of a sweetheart table as an additional installation for the reception.

3. Ceremony Urns - Reception entrance arrangements
Ceremony urns, often placed on pedestals; they are the most versatile design element!  After the ceremony, they are simply carried and placed in a new location with little fuss.  If your ceremony location is separate from your reception, urns can be easily transported in a vehicle with little damage or re-arranging of the florals.

4. Bridesmaids bouquets - Bar arrangement/Cake table arrangement
Bridesmaids bouquets are one of the most overlooked decor pieces.  Once the ceremony and bridal party photos are complete, we always suggest placing bouquets back in water.  Why not use these bouquets as an additional arrangement on the bar, cake table or head table?

5. Copper Arch - Elevated Table installation or Head Table decor
One of our most unique pieces is a double copper frame arch that doubles as an elevated table installation.  After the ceremony, the top half of the arch is removed and placed on an elevated stand on any table! Arch greenery can also be moved and repurposed for head table decor.

Keep in mind that you will need to have time in between your ceremony and reception for your florist and/or planner to relocate design pieces.  Also, if your ceremony is at a separate location from your reception it will be more challenging to move select items.
