Event Design ~ Fine Art Inspired

What is Event Design?

Event design is the overall look and feel of your event. We begin the process with our questionnaire before having our first design call where we look at a style exploration. Through a series of images and questions, we will discuss your personal style and your design priorities. Once we have spent some time chatting and getting to know each other, we will put together the first phase of your design. Beginning with literary and art inspiration, we will develop a colour palette, mood, and style that will begin to shape the atmosphere of your day. Through our design meetings, we will begin to shape the look and tailor all of your personalized details. From paper goods, to linens, and decor elements we will create a unifying design that creates a completely custom look that reflects you and your partner. Your full Event Design will also include floral inspiration, stationery, wedding party as well as vendor recommendations.

Below you will see some of the design details from a fine art Spring garden inspired editorial. With artistic influences from Gustav Klimt and the Art Nouveau movement, we developed a colour palette with warm neutrals and a soft butter yellow accent. One of the focal features was our gold Moongate arch that was adorned with roses. This subtle moon shape was a nod to the May full moon that is also called the “flower moon” as it marks the beginning of Spring. Moon imagery is also seen with the grey tableware and the round shape of the engagement ring.
